Positioned in the heart of Main Beach on the Gold Coast, this public amenities roof system was designed to perform in demanding coastal conditions while complementing the building’s clean, contemporary architecture.

Working alongside Mode Design Corp, Murphy Builders and Havendeen Roofing, ARCPANEL supplied an insulated roof system selected for durability, thermal performance and long-term reliability in this exposed beachfront location.

Insulated roofing for a coastal environment

The project features 110mm insulated roof panels with an Ultra finish, installed across approximately 294m² of roof area.

The system was selected to meet the particular demands of the coastal site while providing a streamlined architectural finish. Combining roofing, insulation and an internal ceiling finish within a single panel system also helped simplify construction and reduce the number of separate building components required.
