Local club sports are a vital part of Australian culture, bringing families and communities together. ARCPANEL is proud to have contributed to another community sporting facility with the Willey Street BMX Club House, a project that will offer a comfortable and modern clubhouse for years to come.
The Ipswich City Council led a $1.8 million upgrade of the Willey Street BMX facility, which is nearing completion. The new clubhouse includes a canteen, office, first aid room, toilets, and storage, all designed to support the Ipswich & West Moreton BMX Club’s growing success.
ARCPANEL’s 140mm Custom Panel was a key element in this build, helping to meet thermal efficiency requirements while simplifying structural design. ARCPANEL’s insulated panels provide superior energy efficiency, making the facility more comfortable for users and reducing the need for extensive structural components, which in turn minimizes construction time and cost.
The upgrades will not only serve the local community but are also expected to attract future state and national BMX events to Ipswich. This project is part of Ipswich City Council’s broader $267.2 million capital works budget aimed at expanding and modernizing community infrastructure, including sports facilities, to accommodate the city’s growing population.
By supporting such projects, ARCPANEL continues to play a key role in developing sustainable, energy-efficient facilities that will benefit local communities for years to come.
