UNSW Village Green Grandstand Showcases ARCPANEL Performance

UNSW Village Green – Moya Dodd Grandstand

Officially opened on March 11, 2024 during International Women’s Day celebrations, the Moya Dodd Grandstand at UNSW Village Green is a meaningful milestone—supporting community sport while recognising progress toward gender equality in sport. ARCPANEL was proud to contribute to this landmark project by supplying insulated roof panels that balance modern form with practical, sustainable performance.

ARCPANEL insulated roof panels: Versatility for designers, confidence for builders

For the grandstand, ARCPANEL supplied 160mm and 175mm insulated roof panels, helping deliver a solution that supports both the architectural vision and the day-to-day comfort of spectators.

Key advantages on the project included:

  • Efficient installation with lightweight, prefabricated panels to reduce time and labour
  • Structural simplicity through spanning and cantilever capability, minimising the need for additional beams
  • Superior thermal performance to help improve comfort across seasons and reduce reliance on energy-intensive conditioning
  • A modern, durable aesthetic suited to a high-use public sporting environment
